NTT Course in Mumbai: Online Nursery Teacher Training
Train as a nursery teacher from Mumbai without travelling to a training centre. Study APTTI's NTT course online in your own time, then teach in private nursery schools and other early-years settings.
The NTT course in Mumbai is studied online: Certificate after 10th (120 hours, 6 months), Diploma after 12th (200 hours, 10 months) or PG Diploma for graduates (240 hours, 12 months). Fees start at ₹10,000 + GST (USD 170). There is no entrance exam, you can start any time, and the certificate is posted to your Mumbai address.
Studying nursery teacher training from Mumbai
Learners in Andheri, Borivali, Dadar, Bandra, Malad, Goregaon, Kandivali and Chembur and across Maharashtra use the same online course: log in at any time, work through the modules and submit assignments to your tutor. You can practise with children where you already work, volunteer at a local playschool or nursery, or use activities at home.
Study is self-paced, so IST (UTC+5:30) working hours make no difference. Assignments are in English; English, Hindi and regional languages can all be part of your classroom practice.
Nursery teaching jobs in Mumbai
Trained nursery teachers in Mumbai work in private nursery schools, playschools, preschool chains, Montessori houses, day-care centres and the pre-primary (nursery, LKG, UKG) sections of CBSE, ICSE, IB, Cambridge and state-board schools. Many also run home-based activity or phonics groups.
India's National Education Policy 2020 made the foundational stage (ages 3 to 8) the first block of the 5+3+3+4 school structure, and the National Curriculum Framework for the Foundational Stage (2022) puts play, activity and the home language at the centre of early learning. That has raised what private preschools expect from nursery and pre-primary teachers: planned play, early literacy and numeracy, observation and partnership with parents.

Recognition in India
Government nursery teacher posts (for example, Assistant Teacher (Nursery) recruitment in Delhi) ask for a nursery teacher education qualification from an NCTE-recognised institution. APTTI is a private, autonomous institute and its courses are not NCTE, UGC or AICTE approved, so they suit private-sector preschools, playschools and schools, and personal professional development, rather than government recruitment.
